Introducing adventure therapy into clinical practice comes with a variety of responsibilities for mental health providers. These include clarity about our clinical approach, management of clinical dynamics and risks that may show up with our clients, a well-developed approach to informed consent, and a solid understanding of the clinical processes we will engage in, such as structuring sessions and documenting our work.
